What happens when you wake up a 5,000-year-old mutant? Chaos, of course.
Apocalypse has been awakened, and after seeing how the state of the world is run by humans rather than mutants, he is angry. He searches for four sidekicks to create an unstoppable team that can help him start the world from scratch.
While Professor Xavier is oblivious to what is about to wreak havoc on the world, a new group of students are introduced through a series of mishaps. From Nightcrawler, a blue demon who hails from Germany; to Scott Summers, a younger sibling to an already established gifted student (Alex from First Class); and, to Jean Grey, whose powers are more extensive than what even Professor Xavier can control.
